Aneeqa Ishaq is currently studying at stanford university doing masters in learning and design technology (LDT). She has previously worked as Research Consultant for International Telecommunication Union’s Special Initiatives division. She is conducting research for ‘Connecting schools, Connecting Communities’ initiative. She also collects best practices about ICT4D projects with special focus on empowerment of people with special needs i.e. children/youth, women, indigenous people, persons with disabilities etc. Her research interests include ICTs in Education, m-learning, ICT4D, Community development, empowerment of women etc. Recently she has completed a consultancy with ICT Applications and Cybersecurity division of ITU in Geneva, Switzerland. She has also worked on a remote health monitoring device for antenatal patients. She completed her Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan.

Uzair Sukhera is currently a student of Masters in Systems Engineering at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA. Previously he has worked as Systems Design Engineer at NUST and led a team of research engineers to develop ‘camera based navigation’ algorithms. He has also conducted research and blogging for ITU’s ‘Connecting Schools, Connecting Communities‘ initiative. He completed his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. He is very passionate about environment and established an environment club at NUST and led a paper recycling project.
